SPECIAL? To encourage children to respond to & reflect on the natural world around them, recognising order & cycles of events relating what they find to religious beliefs.

SPECIAL? An exploration of personal & religious places linked with prayer.

An exploration of ideas implicit to those aspects of human nature which relate to religious practices & communities.

SPECIAL? To encourage awareness of the value of books & to help pupils appreciate how special some books are in some religious traditions.

LIVES? To appreciate the need for rules & agreed codes of behaviour – especially religious rules & beliefs which affect approaches to moral issues.

WHY IS JESUS IMPORTANT?

To develop a clearer picture of Jesus as a person through incidents in his life, establishing why he is important for Christians today.

HOW DO WE CELEBRATE OUR JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE? To

explore how religions express aspects of life’s journey in a variety of creative ways.
